Al-Khadija Al-Kubra Specialized Women’s Hospital, affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), organized a scientific lecture on Von Willebrand Factor (VWF), one of the most common bleeding disorders.

Dr. Duha Maitham, a hematologist at the hospital, stated that the lecture reviewed the latest medical developments in understanding the disorder, with a focus on its clinical significance and modern diagnostic methods. She noted that VWF often goes undiagnosed, posing a serious challenge if not identified and treated at an early stage.
