Algeria launches 2026 summer Quran school
Algeria has launched its 2026 Summer Quran School program under the supervision of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Awqaf.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Minister Youssef Belmahdi said the annual initiative provides students and young people with opportunities for Quranic learning during the summer holidays. He noted that the program has expanded significantly in recent years and now serves large numbers of participants through Quranic schools and traditional learning centers across the country.
Belmahdi said the Summer Quran School combines Quranic education with moral guidance, personal development, and recreational activities. He also announced the integration of Algeria’s online Quran recitation platform, allowing participants to benefit from distance learning.
