Decorative Quran stand displayed at Al-Abbas Holy Shrine Museum
The Al-Kafeel Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts at the Holy Shrine of Abbas (peace be upon him) in Karbala has displayed a decorative wooden Quran stand showcasing the beauty of Islamic craftsmanship.
The stand, which weighs 1,155 grams, is adorned with intricate floral, geometric, and Islamic motifs that reflect the precision and elegance of traditional Islamic art.
Combining functionality with artistic value, the stand was designed to support the Holy Quran during recitation while serving as a fine example of Islamic decorative woodwork.
The Al-Kafeel Museum continues to preserve and exhibit historical artifacts that highlight the richness and diversity of Islamic heritage, helping visitors and researchers appreciate their cultural and artistic significance.
