Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani confirmed this weekend that Iraq will continue its efforts to support the people of Gaza. This comes following the visit of the Palestinian Ambassador to Iraq to the PM office.

According to the PM office media team, the meeting discussed updates and developments in the Gaza conflict, which has been witnessing a criminal Zionist war for more than a year, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of thousands of civilians.

The Prime Minister reiterated "Iraq's moral and firm position on the Palestinian situation," and stressed "the need for international organizations and major countries to assume their responsibilities in order to end the suffering of civilians in Gaza."

Al-Sudani added that Iraq will continue to send humanitarian aid to the oppressed people of Gaza.
