The Karbala Center for Studies and Research at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has recently released the book “Ali Asghar Has Not Returned” in both Arabic and English. This literary work offers a unique exploration of the family of Imam Hussain (peace be upon them), documenting their journey from Medina to Karbala, on to Kufa and Damascus, and their eventual return to Karbala.

Authored by Zahra Ali Syed, a Pakistani writer, lawyer, and founder of the Sayyida Zainab Center for Research, the book delves into an emotional and human-centered narrative, focusing on Sayyida Rubab, the mother of the infant martyr Ali Asghar, and Sayyida Ruqayya (peace be upon them). Through their stories, the book sheds light on their immense suffering during the Ashura tragedy.

This edition makes a significant contribution to the Islamic library, as it addresses the often overlooked emotional and spiritual dimensions of the Karbala tragedy. It provides readers with profound lessons in patience, sacrifice, and resilience. The book is now available at the Karbala Center for Studies and Research for all those seeking to understand this timeless journey of faith.
