Delegations of Arab talents visit the Holy Shrines
The delegations participating in the Arab Championship for Scientific Talents held in the capital, Baghdad, were honored to visit the holy shrines in the city of Karbala.
The head of the Arab Talent Team, Mushtaq Talib Mahmoud, told Karbala International Agency, "We participated in the Arab Championship for Scientific Talents, which was organized by the Iraqi Ministry of Youth and Sports in the capital, Baghdad, with the participation of 10 Arab countries."
The tournament included various artistic and cultural competitions, and it aimed to show the world the Arab talent as well as conveying the correct image of Iraq to these countries to learn about the country's rich cultural and religious heritage.
The delegation visited various Iraqi provinces, including Karbala and Najaf, and toured the holy shrines.
Hassan Hijazi from Palestine said, "We were honored to visit the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and his brother Abu Al-Fadhl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) with a group of participants in the Arab Talent Championship from Libya, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Algeria, Egypt, and other countries."
He added, "In our visit to these holy shrines, we found love, peace, and a great welcome from the people of the holy city. We found true hospitality for all visitors from different nationalities, religious denominations and religions."
