The Communications Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has announced the launch of a dedicated hotline “174” coinciding with the arrival of the month of Muharram. This initiative is part of the Shrine’s preparations to accommodate the large influx of pilgrims and to provide efficient field services that keep pace with the heavy crowds visiting the holy city of Karbala.

Engineer Mustafa Ali Al-Shammari, head of the department, explained that the hotline operates 24 hours a day, offering a range of essential services. These include rapid emergency assistance, guidance for lost individuals, religious counseling, and facilitating communication with various departments of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine.

The administration of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), through its service, health, and security branches, is exerting every effort to manage the crowds and organize the movement of pilgrims during the peak pilgrimage period in Karbala.
