The French Ambassador to Iraq, Patrick Durel, and his accompanying delegation visited the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, peace be upon him.

Karbala International Agency correspondent stated, “The Deputy Secretary-General of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, Dr. Alaa Dhiyaa Al-Din, received the French delegation and provided a comprehensive explanation of the Holy Shrine and the religious landmarks in its vicinity."

The French ambassador said, "This is my first visit to the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, and I witnessed the beauty and splendor of this holy place."

Durel added, "I will revisit the Holy Shrine again to tour its service, humanitarian and health projects."
