The Ministry of Education announced that strengthening English language teachers’ skills is a key focus of its professional training programs, in line with Education Minister Abdul Karim Abtan Al-Jubouri’s directive to improve teaching performance and modernize instructional methods.

The Preparation and Training Department at the General Directorate of Education in Najaf Al-Ashraf has held the second session of a training course for English teachers in partnership with the British Council.

The seven-session program is being conducted at a rate of one lecture per week and is organized by the English Language Supervisory Division. It focuses on teaching skills, modern English-language teaching methodologies, and the requirements of contemporary education.
