Family Counseling Center in Baghdad holds fourth “Crowns of Chastity” festival for young girls
The Family Counseling Center in Baghdad, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, continues its educational and awareness-raising efforts to nurture a generation grounded in Islamic values and principles. As part of these efforts, the center organized the fourth edition of the “Crowns of Chastity” (Tijan Al-Afaf) preparatory festival for girls who have reached the age of religious maturity.
Nabaa Al-Hasani, a consultant at the center, explained that following the completion of registration, the center launched the in-person preparatory program for girls born in 2011 who have reached religious maturity. The event attracted more than 100 participants.
Amal Al-Hasani, the center’s scientific deputy, noted that the program featured a series of educational and awareness-raising lectures addressing key aspects of Islamic practice. These included the significance of the hijab, the proper method of performing ablution (wudu), and the rules and procedures governing prayer.
Through this initiative, the center seeks to strengthen religious awareness among young girls and equip them with the knowledge needed to practice their faith in accordance with Islamic teachings.
