A group of young volunteers from Basra is providing free repair services for Arbaeen pilgrims at the Imam Hussain Pilgrim City, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine on the Babylon–Karbala road. Their workshop repairs strollers and mends bags, shoes, and clothing, helping pilgrims continue their journey to Karbala.

Volunteer Wathiq Laibi Al-Baidhani said the team has been serving pilgrims for nearly 10 days using tools and materials purchased through their own efforts. After volunteering in Nasiriyah's Al-Chibayish district, they moved to the Pilgrim City to continue their work until the end of the pilgrimage.

Al-Baidhani said the group has operated the free repair workshop for five consecutive years, describing service to Imam Hussain's pilgrims as an honor they look forward to each year. He added that the Imam Hussain Pilgrim City provides the volunteers with space, accommodation, and other support, enabling them to continue serving thousands of visitors throughout the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
