Iran reopened its airspace on Thursday morning following a temporary closure that lasted several hours.

According to media reports monitored by Karbala Now Agency, Iranian authorities announced the reopening of the country’s airspace after it had been shut down for a limited period.

Earlier, Iranian officials had issued a notice closing the airspace to all flights, with the exception of international flights operating with prior authorization. Reuters, citing data from FlightRadar24, reported that Iran had restricted its airspace to international flights that had obtained official permission during the closure.
