Imam Hussain Holy Shrine’s Technical Education Authority explores cooperation with global renewable energy firm
The Technical Education Authority of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) recently held a preliminary meeting with the Chinese company Shenzhen SAKO Solar Co., Ltd. at the authority’s headquarters in Karbala to explore potential cooperation in the fields of renewable energy and vocational training.
Dr. Abbas Al-Dumain, Head of the Technical Education Authority, stated that the meeting aimed to lay the groundwork for collaboration in developing renewable energy initiatives, training programs, and skill-building opportunities for local youth. The discussions focused on establishing joint training courses led by Chinese experts at the Al-Thaqalayn Center for Vocational Training and Rehabilitation, as well as the creation of a model renewable energy laboratory outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment.
During the visit, the authority and its technical staff were introduced to SAKO’s key products, including solar panels, inverters, batteries, storage systems, and comprehensive solar energy solutions for both residential and industrial applications.
Representatives from SAKO Solar expressed their interest in forming a strategic partnership that promotes sustainability and innovation, aligning with the developmental goals of the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).
The Technical Education Authority continues to pursue international partnerships with leading global companies in vocational education, with a special focus on modern industries such as renewable energy. These efforts aim to empower local talent and youth to play an active role in advancing sustainable development and technological innovation.
