The Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Sayyed Ali Al-Sistani, welcomed Dr. Muhammad Taher Kamil Abu Raghif Al-Mousawi, an Iraqi-British doctor, during his visit.

His Eminence listened to Dr. Taher’s detailed account of the challenging health and medical conditions in the besieged Gaza Strip and expressed gratitude for the doctor's efforts during his time there, wishing him continued success and divine guidance.

Dr. Muhammad Taher volunteered as part of a medical delegation affiliated with the Fajr Scientific Foundation, where he performed hundreds of surgeries in Gaza during the Israeli aggression under extremely difficult circumstances.

In addition to his meeting with Ayatollah Sistani, Dr. Taher also visited the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and met with Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalaey, the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority. Dr. Taher expressed his deep appreciation for the visit, emphasizing that the Holy Shrine is not only a religious center but also a vital model for providing humanitarian and medical services. This, he noted, demonstrates the integration of spiritual and service-oriented efforts.
