The relief delegation of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine distributed a batch of emergency aid to Lebanese families, in cooperation with the municipality of Ghobeiry in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
Holy Shrine member of BoD, Sabah Al-Janabi, said, “The relief delegation of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine examined the living conditions of the displaced families as they return to their homes, and in response to the statement of the Supreme Religious Authority, we distributed emergency aid in cooperation with the municipality of Ghobeiry, in the southern suburbs of Beirut.”
Al-Janabi explained that the aid included the distribution of more than 300 heaters and 500 propane tanks due to the cold weather conditions.
The relief delegation recently moved from Syria to Lebanon to provide services to those returning to their homes in Lebanon, where they were provided with medical and in-kind aid, in addition to meals.
