Iraqi government: We strongly refuse any violation or abuse of the eminence of the Supreme Religious Authority, which is esteemed and respected worldwide.

Government spokesperson Bassem Al-Awadi stated today, "Following the Zionist entity's excessive actions in committing genocide against the Islamic world, perpetrating heinous crimes against humanity, and openly engaging in killing and aggression in Gaza and Lebanon, it is now the turn of their instigating and racist media, resorting to the most base forms of abuse against the Supreme Religious Authority."

Al-Awadi stressed, "The Iraqi government refuses in the strongest terms any violation of His eminence and warns of the danger of these attempts based on a racist intellectual background, as the foundations of those people have gone too far in disregarding the Holy sanctities, which encourages the expansion of aggression and exposes international security and peace to a real threat."
