The Imam Ali Holy Shrine, represented by the Holy Quran House within its Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department, has launched a series of scholarly seminars in Iraq’s northern provinces. The initiative aims to promote Quranic knowledge and enhance religious and cultural awareness in society, in coordination with representatives of the Supreme Religious Authority and various Quranic institutions.

Alaa Mohsen, Head of the Holy Quran House, told the News Center that the program began with a scholarly seminar at Al-Mustafa Mosque in the Domiz area of Kirkuk Governorate. Titled “Divine Trial: A Divine Law — The Story of Prophet Job (peace be upon him) as a Model,” the seminar explored the Quranic understanding of trials and tribulations.

Mohsen explained that the seminar examined the story of Prophet Job (peace be upon him), highlighting the spiritual lessons and Quranic values embodied in his experience, particularly patience, perseverance, and steadfastness in the face of adversity. The discussion sought to deepen participants’ understanding of these teachings and strengthen their connection with the values of the Holy Quran.

He emphasized that these activities form part of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine’s ongoing efforts to promote Quranic culture, reinforce Islamic values, and contribute to building an informed and conscious society that draws its principles and guidance from the Holy Quran in all aspects of life.
