Dar Al-Quran Department affiliated with Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, in cooperation with Al-Zahraa University for Girls, held the 8th National Quranic Competition of Memorising the Holy Quran on Saturday, July 27-2024.

Karar Al-Shammari, the media director at the department, said, "The participants are 250 for both male and female memorizers, 150 for boys and 100 for girls, divided into three categories, which are 10 parts memorizers, 20 parts, and the whole Quran, as the competition will last for 4 days."

He concluded, "The competition aims to develop the Quranic memorizers' capabilities and skills and to share thoughts, information, ideas, and visions among the participants."
