Dar Al-Warith Printing and Publishing House, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has completed the printing of the Holy Quran using entirely Iraqi expertise and in line with the highest scientific and technical standards.

Director Engineer Muntadhar Saleh stated that the Quran was printed using the renowned Medina script, penned by world-famous calligrapher Othman Taha, selected for its precision and widespread recognition across the Islamic world.

“All stages of design, decoration, and production were carried out by Iraqi hands,” Saleh noted. “The cover and page borders were designed to blend artistic beauty with authentic Islamic identity.”

He emphasized the meticulous two-stage review process: a pre-printing verification by a scientific committee from the Quran House Department, led by Sheikh Dr. Khairuddin Al-Hadi, followed by a post-printing review conducted by Quran memorizers and specialized scholars to ensure complete accuracy and eliminate any linguistic or typographical errors.

Saleh highlighted that the Quran was produced using state-of-the-art printing and binding technologies, resulting in a high-quality edition that reflects the grandeur of the Word of God and showcases the capabilities of Iraqi professionals.

This achievement represents an important milestone in Iraq’s religious publishing sector. It renews confidence in national expertise and serves as both a scientific and artistic contribution to the service of the Holy Quran. It also aligns with the mission of the Imam Hussain Shrine to promote Quranic culture and preserve authentic Islamic identity.
