The Holy Karbala Environment Directorate announced a special programme for the Ashuraa Pilgrimage, which marks the tenth of Muharram, where Imam Hussain and his family were martyred in the sorrowful incident of AL-Taff.

Wamedh Anwar, the city's Environment Media Officer, stated to Karbala International Agency, "The directorate has prepared a programme for the pilgrimage, including three teams: the first team specialises in field tours, the second team works on health awareness for pilgrims through the environmental radio car, which has languages: Arabic, Persian, English, etc.

He added, "The third team works with the Environmental Awareness and Media Department in addition to the Mine Affairs teams to educate citizens about foreign objects and report them."
