The Media Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has launched comprehensive field coverage of the Arbaeen Pilgrimage, starting from Ras Al-Bisha in the southernmost part of Basra Governorate, Iraq. This location marks the beginning of the pilgrims' journey toward the holy city of Karbala.

The Arbaeen Pilgrimage is an annual procession that draws millions of participants, commemorating the fortieth day after the martyrdom of Imam Hussain ibn Ali—the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad—along with his family and companions, and the subsequent captivity of his surviving family members.
