The College of Islamic Knowledge, affiliated with the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), welcomed an academic delegation from Pakistan representing the National Rahmatan Lil Alamin and Khatam Al-Nabiyyeen Foundation. This visit—the first of its kind to Iraq—aims to strengthen scientific cooperation in the field of Prophetic biography studies.

The delegation’s visit included a series of academic meetings and tours of significant religious and educational sites in Iraq. These included visits to holy shrines, academic institutions, public libraries, and engagements with prominent scientific and religious figures.

During the visit, the delegation held several meetings with Sheikh Ahmed Al-Amili, Dean of the College of Islamic Knowledge. Discussions focused on developing frameworks for joint cooperation in promoting academic and theoretical research centered on the personality and life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). The two sides explored ways to present the Prophet’s biography as a model for civilizational development and societal well-being.

The Pakistani delegation expressed strong interest in expanding the horizons of scientific and cultural collaboration, emphasizing the importance of rebuilding the intellectual, moral, and social foundations of Muslim societies through the values exemplified in the Prophet’s life and message.

It is noteworthy that the Rahmatan Lil Alamin Foundation is one of the leading government institutions in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, dedicated to promoting the Prophet’s biography and spreading the values of love, compassion, and ethical conduct, particularly among younger generations.
