Imam Hussain Holy Shrine begins implementing special plan for upcoming Arafah Day and Eid Al-Adha
The Security Department at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine announced the mobilization of all its employees to implement the special security and organizational plan for the upcoming Arafah Day and Eid Al-Adha, with the participation of more than 3,000 volunteers from different provinces of the country.
The head of the department, Rasoul Fidhala, said, "All of the department’s employees have entered a state of alert from today until next Monday, to implement the integrated security and organizational plan prepared for the upcoming massive pilgrimage on Arafah Day and Eid Al-Adha."
According to Fidhala, over 3,000 volunteers from different provinces have registered and are ready to take their roles in the plan.
"We attended several meetings, the most recent of which was with the Karbala Operations Command, in the presence of all the directors of the local security forces, the police chief, and the operations commander. There is high-level coordination with the security, intelligence, and health services in the holy province of Karbala, in order to ensure strict implementation of the security plan for the pilgrimage," he added.
The security plan for the Day of Arafat and the blessed Eid al-Adha includes organizing the entry and exit of visitors from the Holy Shrines of Imam Hussain and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them) and the surrounding streets, to facilitate the flow of the crowds.
