The representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalaey, confirmed that the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain is not looking for investment or profits, but rather its goal is to provide advanced internet service.

This came during a field tour of the Communications Department and the headquarters of Iraq Cell Company.

“I witnessed remarkable development and mastery in the new telecommunication services and projects that exceeded our expectations. What the company and the department have achieved in terms of internet development, as well as other projects, represents a qualitative leap in this field,” said Sheikh Al-Karbalaey.

He hoped the company maintains offering high quality fiber optic services with the highest efficiency and confirmed that the Holy Shrine is not looking for profit.
