Al-Mizan Home Health Care Centre, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, provided humanitarian services to the residents of the nursing home in Holy Karbala by conducting a visit to the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine and Al-Abbas Holy Shrine (PBUT) and an Iftar-breaking event in the shrine's canteen.

Hussain Madhloum Al-Fatlawi, Assistant Director of Al-Mizan Centre for Home Health Care, said in a statement to Karbala International Agency, "Among the programmes instructed by the representative of the supreme religious authority at the Holy Shrine, his eminence Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, is to provide continuous health and psychological support."

He added, "The centre took the initiative to conduct a tour for older adults, including a visit to the Holy Shrines and breaking Iftar at the canteen. Its lofty goal is to make them feel that they are part of society."

He stated, "The centre's cadres organise weekly visits for those who need a medical examination, consultation, and treatment. Special wheels are also available to transport emergency and critical cases requiring surgery or intervention."
