The Holy Quran House at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine achieved a significant milestone in digital Quranic education during the holy month of Ramadan. The Electronic Activities Unit at the Center for Quranic Research and Studies organized over 1,100 online Quran sessions, attracting widespread participation from around the world, highlighting the growing interest in learning the Holy Quran through modern digital platforms.

Muhammad Al-Taee, head of the unit, explained that the program operated on a two-shift system—morning and evening—with sessions broadcasted live on Telegram. Each session featured more than 20 classes, creating an interactive and organized environment for a large number of participants.

“The tremendous engagement in these sessions reflects society’s strong interest in digital Quranic education. Participants showed a genuine desire to complete the Quranic courses and make the most of modern technology. We ensured a flexible educational setup to enable them to follow the program without barriers,” Al-Taee said.

The courses saw record participation. The Tarateel Al-Samaa course, supervised by Professor Umm Barq Al-Atwani, had 472 female readers, who completed 409 Quran recitations. The Al-Lo’lo’ Al-Maknoon course, led by Professor Azhar Jawad Kazim, saw 480 female readers, each completing 480 recitations. The Al-Baqiyat Al-Salahat course, overseen by Professor Rabab Kassad Ali, involved 244 female readers, who successfully completed 244 recitations.

The Holy Quran House at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues to advance the digital Quranic movement, with plans to launch the Electronic Quranic Academy. This initiative aims to offer specialized curricula and interactive courses, enabling students worldwide to enhance their academic knowledge within a fully integrated digital environment.
