The Holy Quran House Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has completed and published the Ahlulbayt Quranic Encyclopedia, a comprehensive collection of hadiths and narrations from the Prophet Muhammad and his family (peace be upon them) related to the Quran.

Sheikh Khair Al-Din Al-Hadi, head of the department, explained to Karbala Now Agency that the encyclopedia was the result of 14 years of research by a team of professors and scholars, under the guidance of specialized committees. The work spans 60 volumes and contains over 35,000 narrations, classified into three categories: those revealed to the Imams (peace be upon them), those about their enemies, and those covering Sunnah, rulings, and laws.

The encyclopedia also includes chapters on the history of the Quran, reasons for its revelation, the Ahlulbayt’s reading of the Quran, and their virtues, among other key topics. After its completion, the team met with His Eminence, Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalaey, who praised the work as a valuable addition to the Arab and Islamic libraries.

Professor Hajj Hassan Rashid Al-Abayji, Secretary-General of the Holy Shrine, also commended the encyclopedia as a milestone in documenting the Quranic legacy of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them).

The Holy Quran House continues its efforts to publish books and studies that advance the understanding of the Quran and Ahlulbayt’s heritage in line with modern research.
