CPR: First-of-a-Kind Medical Program in Iraq

Imam Hussain Holy Shrine announced the holding of a medical program on preserving the patient during cardiac operations with specialists from the United Kingdom. The program was held in Zainul Abidin Hospital, affiliated with the Holy Shrine.



Dr. Hadaf Al-Abadi, Head of the Cardiac Catheterisation Department at Imam Zainul Abidin Hospital, said in a statement to Karbala International Agency, "The training activities held by the Health and Medical Education Authority to keep pace with the scientific development, as the first course was held in the hospital hall in training on cardiopulmonary resuscitation in the departments of cardiac catheterisation and open heart surgeries."



British Professor Joel Dunning, head of the delegation of Castle Hill University, said, "The delegation came from the United Kingdom to implement the first medical program that deals with how to preserve the patient during cardiac operations for training the cadres of the hospital."
