The Directorate of Agriculture in Karbala announced yesterday, September 10, 2024, the amount of poultry feed production during August for the current year.

Engineer Hussain Ali Nouri, Deputy Head of the Animal Wealth Services Department, stated, "The directorate carried out three projects to produce poultry feed and was able to produce (6300 tonnes) during the past month, indicating that Al-Hafedh Feed Factory produced (1050 tonnes), while Al-Waha Factory for the production of pellets was able to produce (3150 tonnes), while Karbala Feed Factory produced (2100 tonnes)."

He added, "Karbala Governorate has (55) operational poultry projects during the past month, including (36) broiler projects, (10) table egg projects, two hatching egg mother projects, and (6) egg hatching projects."
