To commemorate the blessed birth anniversaries of the Noble Prophet Muhammad and Imam Al-Sadiq (peace be upon them), the National Solidarity Council of Pakistan’s Milli Yakjehti Council, hosted by the Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, organized a major public conference in Islamabad titled “Love for the Great Prophet: The Focal Point of Muslim Unity.”

The conference brought together prominent scholars and religious leaders representing various Islamic schools of thought from across Pakistan, along with political and religious figures, intellectuals, and distinguished personalities from different fields. Several members of the National Solidarity Council, as well as other religious and political leaders, delivered speeches and addresses during the event.

Speakers underscored the importance of the life and teachings of the Noble Prophet and of cultivating love for him as a means of consolidating the unity of the Islamic Ummah and strengthening bonds of brotherhood among Muslims. They emphasized that love for the Great Prophet represents a shared bond and common ground for Muslims of all schools of thought, and that upholding this sacred bond can help bridge differences and promote unity, brotherhood, and solidarity within the Islamic Ummah.

Participating scholars stressed the need for the Islamic Ummah, particularly in light of current circumstances, to rise above sectarian and denominational differences and unite in defense of shared Islamic values and the unity of the Ummah. They affirmed that love for the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) is a fundamental element of faith and should be reflected in practical conduct by promoting brotherhood, tolerance, mutual acceptance, and respect among Muslims.

Conference participants reaffirmed their commitment to continuing efforts through the platform of the Pakistan National Solidarity Council to strengthen Muslim unity, foster harmony and understanding among different Islamic schools of thought, and promote a culture of religious tolerance in Pakistan. They called for continued cooperation among scholars and religious leaders representing diverse intellectual traditions, as well as religious and political parties and groups.

The conference concluded by emphasizing that devotion to the Greatest Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) is a central pillar of Islamic unity and a sacred bond capable of bringing Muslims together. Participants stressed that preserving and strengthening this spiritual bond can help deepen love, brotherhood, and unity among Muslims and foster a stronger spirit of solidarity and fraternity throughout the Islamic Ummah.
