Al-Wafi Foundation: An integrated system for transforming documentation projects into professional media content
The Technical Support Center at the Al-Wafi Foundation for Documentation and Studies, affiliated with the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, continues to provide essential support for the Foundation’s documentation projects by delivering integrated technical and media solutions that present its scholarly and documentary work through modern, creative approaches.
The Center oversees the design and artistic direction of various projects, while also producing documentaries and visual content that highlight the Foundation’s activities and achievements. Through these efforts, it helps expand the reach of the Foundation’s message and make its work accessible to wider audiences.
Maytham Abdul-Sattar, director of the Technical Support Center, told Karbala Now Agency that the Center is responsible for the final design and artistic supervision of projects submitted by the Foundation’s various departments, in addition to producing documentary films. He explained that these services help present documentation initiatives in a professional format that meets contemporary media standards.
He added that the Center includes several specialized units covering graphic design, documentary photography, motion graphics, and video editing. These teams work together on a range of tasks, including designing publications and promotional materials, producing animated content, and photographing, processing, and formatting documents received from official institutions.
Abdul-Sattar also highlighted the Center’s contribution to major documentation initiatives, including the Encyclopedia of the Sufficient Defense Fatwa, as well as the production of documentaries and other visual materials. He said these efforts have played an important role in preserving the Foundation’s achievements and presenting its intellectual and cultural mission through modern media platforms, underscoring the value of technical expertise in advancing documentation work.
