Medical teams from inside and outside Iraq provide free services in Khadija Al-Kubra Women's Hospital
Since the launch of “Ata Al-Imam Al-Hussain Medical Initiative,” Khadija Al-Kubra Women's Hospital has been providing free medical services to all Iraqis, with the participation of health professionals from inside and outside Iraq.
Dr. Baidaa Ibrahim Salman, hospital director, told Karbala International Agency that "the hospital continues to provide free medical services to all patients in the second phase of Ata Al-Imam Al-Hussain Medical Initiative, which is paid for by the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him)."
She added, "The initiative will continue for twenty days, from the 20th of Muharram until the 10th of Safar.”
The hospital receives approximately 1,500 to 1,800 patients per day, according to Dr. Salman.
Khadija Al-Kubra Women's Hospital is located in Karbala and is one of the many hospitals affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).
