Following the directive of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, the General Secretariat of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine announced the launch of the “Second Ata’ Imam Hussain Initiative” to treat all citizens free of charge in all health institutions affiliated with the Holy Shrine.

The Holy Shrine’s administration explained in its statement that “the initiative will be launched in two phases: the first for Muharram 11-13, and the second will be from Muharram 20 until Safar 10 1446.”

The hospitals and health institutions included in the initiative are: Warith International Foundation for Oncology, Imam Zain Al-Abideen Hospital, Safeer Imam Hussain Surgical Hospital, Khadija Al-Kubra Specialized Hospital for Women, Imam Al-Mujtaba Hospital for Blood Diseases and Bone Marrow Transplantation, Sayyida Zainab Al-Kubra Eye Center, and Mizan Home Health Care Center.
