Al-Zahraa University for Women ranks in The WURI rankings' top 100
Al-Zahraa University for Women, affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, announced that it ranked first among public and private universities and colleges in Iraq, according to The World University Rankings for Innovation (The WURI).
The university ranked 17 out of 100 globally in the 'Generative AI Application (A7) Top 100', and 61 out of 100 in the 'Student Support and Engagement (A1) Top 100'.
"This achievement comes as a result of outstanding excellence and dedication," said university president, Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani.
Al-Sultani praised the university’s staff and congratulated all members of Al-Zahraa University for Women on this wonderful achievement.
The World University Rankings for Innovation (The WURI) assesses higher education institutions' real contributions to industry and society, highlighting innovative education, research, and engagement to society. Using 13 categories, it encompasses innovation targets and methods, offering a comprehensive measure of institutions’ creative contributions to societal advancement. The ranking aims to spotlight higher education institutions that excel in these innovative approaches, thereby inspiring advancements across the academic and societal landscape.
