The Middle East Eye website reported that seven BBC employees quit their jobs at the channel last Monday as a matter of protest against the channel's coverage after its correspondents accompanied the Israeli army forces in southern Lebanon
The employees announced, according to the website, "We will not return to our jobs unless the channel publishes an apology for the incident or demands accountability for the employees who accompanied the forces during the coverage."
