Karbala witnesses regional cooperation to establish medical training programs and research center
Al-Hadi Center for Neuromuscular Disorders, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, announced cooperation with the Tehran University of Medical Sciences in establishing training programs for the center’s staff and establishing a research center.
The director of the center, Dr. Saleh Salman Al-Jaberi, said, "The cooperation follows the vision of the Holy Shrine regarding the necessity of integration between the Health and Medical Education Authority and international medical institutions. The center coordinated with the Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), and several meetings were held to discuss the development of the center’s work."
He added, "The cooperation resulted in organizing training programs for the center's staff, as well as striving to develop an epilepsy center in a way that meets all the needs of patients."
Al-Jaberi emphasized that the cooperation mechanism includes the establishment of an advanced and sophisticated research center that will be managed in a cooperative and integrated manner.
