The University of Warith Al-Anbiya announced that it has obtained membership in the United Nations Academic lmpact (UNAI), for its contributions in the field of sustainable development and scientific research.

"There are more than 1,600 institutions from 150 countries that are members of this organization, and the University of Warith Al-Anbiya is considered the first Iraqi university to join in this field," said the university in a statement.

The University of Warith Al-Anbiya is one of the universities affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) in Karbala. It is located on Karbala-Baghdad Road near Awn Shrine.
