The summer Quran sessions have been launched at the Holy Shrine of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in Karbala, amid a blessed and spiritual atmosphere.

More than 150 students divided into smaller circles participated in the sessions organized by the Holy Quran Institute of the Holy Shrine.

Institute director Sheikh Jawad Al-Nasrawi said,  "The students will receive lessons on the Holy Quran, beliefs, jurisprudence, biography of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), ethics, as well as participate in cultural programs, forums and competitions."

The Quran sessions will be from Saturday to Wednesday 8:00am-11:30am, with a lunch break in between.

"As part of the 'Summer Quran Sessions' project in the holy province of Karbala, the Holy Quran Institute organized 218 Quran sessions throughout the city center and its surrounding districts," added Al-Nasrawi.
