Norwegian researcher honored for translating Nahj Al-Balagha and promoting Islamic heritage in the west
On the sidelines of an international symposium organized by the International Council for Religious and Humanistic Dialogue at the Central Library in Oslo, Norwegian researcher and religious studies specialist Dr. Nora Sunniva Eggen delivered an analytical presentation on Nahj Al-Balagha. In her address, she highlighted its intellectual and humanistic values, as well as its profound civilizational dimensions.
Dr. Eggen is widely regarded as a leading figure in conveying Islamic heritage to Western audiences. Her notable contributions include translating Nahj Al-Balagha into Norwegian, along with several other important Islamic texts and sources.
In recognition of her outstanding academic achievements in research and translation, the Secretary-General of the International Council for Religious and Humanistic Dialogue, Dr. Ali Musa Al-Musawi, presented Dr. Eggen with a certificate of appreciation. The honor acknowledged her valuable role in promoting intercultural dialogue and strengthening cultural understanding and communication between East and West.
