The Imam Hussain Cultural Center in Islamabad hosted a delegation of professors, researchers, and academics from universities and educational institutions across the Pakistani capital. The delegation included Sunni scholar and preacher Professor Israr Gul Haqqani.

During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the Center's vision, objectives, and role in promoting scholarly, intellectual, and cultural dialogue. They were also introduced to its key academic, cultural, and educational programs and activities.

The visitors learned about the seminars, conferences, and intellectual forums organized by the Center, particularly initiatives aimed at fostering communication among followers of different schools of thought and religions and promoting a culture of dialogue, mutual understanding, and respect.

The delegation also reviewed a number of educational, humanitarian, and developmental projects carried out to serve pilgrims visiting the Holy Shrine in Karbala. The projects highlighted the scholarly, social, and humanitarian dimensions of the Shrine's activities.

The visiting academics expressed their appreciation for the Center's efforts in the scholarly and cultural fields. They stressed the importance of strengthening communication and cooperation between universities and academic and cultural institutions, noting that such engagement can contribute to studying and promoting the universal values embodied in the uprising of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), including justice, dignity, freedom, ethics, and service to humanity.

The academics further emphasized the importance of presenting these values to younger generations through contemporary scholarly and intellectual discourse.

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation praised the Center's programs and initiatives and expressed interest in developing academic and cultural cooperation, including organizing joint scholarly and intellectual events. Such efforts, they noted, can help promote shared human values within university communities and society at large.
