Sheikh Muadh Bah, leader of the Shia movement in Sierra Leone, visited the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to discuss ways to strengthen media and cultural cooperation aimed at promoting the teachings of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them).

During the visit, Sheikh Muadh Bah met with the Secretary-General of the Warith Al-Anbiya Foundation, an affiliate of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, and Haidar Al-Mangooshi, Director of the International Media Center. The meeting focused on avenues for joint cooperation in the media and cultural fields, particularly content development and expanding communication through social media platforms.

Speaking to Karbala Now, Al-Mangooshi said the visiting delegation included several Shia scholars and figures from Sierra Leone. They included Sheikh Bamba Kargbo, Imam of the Imam Al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) Mosque; Sheikh Talib Bah, supervisor of the Al-Zahra (peace be upon her) Seminary; Brother Ibrahim Tangabi, administrative officer of the Shia office in the southern region; and Brother Musa Manju, a religious propagator in the eastern region.

He explained that the discussions addressed the development of media and cultural activities in Sierra Leone, with the aim of strengthening communication and promoting intellectual and cultural content. The meeting also explored a number of potential joint projects in these fields.

Al-Mangooshi further noted that Sheikh Ibrahim Bah had previously inaugurated the Warith Al-Anbiya School in Sierra Leone, an institution that provides both academic and seminary education, in cooperation with the Holy Shrine.
