Iraqi researcher Dr. Adel Abdul Rahman Siddiq Al-Salihi has officially registered a U.S. patent for a pioneering experimental treatment targeting autism spectrum disorder—marking a major breakthrough in global autism research.

"This achievement is the result of years of dedicated field and laboratory work," Al-Salihi stated. "It’s not just a treatment—it's a scientific and humanitarian milestone that offers new hope to autistic children and their families worldwide."

He explained that the patented therapy is the first of its kind, based on rare natural human immune components formulated within a legally protected secret compound. Early models have shown promising success rates of 70% to 86% in children with immune-based forms of autism.

Al-Salihi noted that experimental trials on highly sensitive animal models are currently underway, with plans to begin clinical studies in the near future. The research is being conducted within a strict scientific and ethical framework, in collaboration with international experts in immunology, neurology, and nanophysics.

"This is a historic moment," he said, "as the eyes of the global scientific community turn to Baghdad—the source of what could become the first effective treatment to breach autism’s wall of silence."

The patent is one of several significant scientific milestones by Dr. Al-Salihi, whose work integrates biological and environmental insights to better understand, prevent, and treat autism, a condition affecting millions worldwide.
