The Holy Quran House, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has unveiled its Ramadan program for Quran recitations in Karbala and several other Iraqi provinces, as well as special recitations for university students.

Wissam Al-Dalfi, the head of the Quran House’s Media Center, said in a statement to Karbala Now Agency, “With the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, the Holy Quran House has launched its Ramadan Quran project and announced the largest Quran recitation session, which will be held daily at 2:30 pm in the courtyard of the Holy Shrine, featuring an elite group of reciters from both holy shrines.”

Al-Dalfi also highlighted that the Holy Shrine would host a central women’s Quran recitation event as part of the annual Ramadan Quran Project. This project includes organizing over 1,600 Quran recitation sessions across various districts in Karbala, alongside Quran activities in 16 other Iraqi provinces.

He further noted, “The branches will host more than 45 daily Quran sessions, and we have completed all necessary logistical preparations to ensure a fitting Quranic atmosphere for participants and listeners.”

In addition, more than 23 Iraqi academic institutions will host Quran recitation sessions under the supervision of the Academic Education Center, including the University of Karbala, University of Babylon, Al-Qasim University, the Islamic University, Imam Al-Kadhim College, Wasit University, and Thi Qar University.

The Holy Quran House has prioritized providing top-level organization for these blessed events through its various units and Quran centers. The Quran recitations will begin on the first day of Ramadan (Sunday), and all believers and pilgrims are invited to attend and participate in these sacred sessions.
