The Head of UNICEF in Afghanistan announced that approximately 18 million Afghans have received healthcare services from UNICEF since January 2024.

According to Tajudeen Oyewale, the organization has supplied this assistance through 240 healthcare facilities nationwide. Additionally, it is stated that UNICEF is working to expand its programme role by collaborating with various ministries and sector departments.
