Safeer Al-Imam Al-Hussain Hospital reveals its medical plan for Arbaeen
Safeer Al-Imam Al-Hussain Hospital, affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, revealed its medical plan for the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.
The hospital's administrative assistant, Engineer Abbas Abid Ali, said, “The plan includes the deployment of emergency centers, a field hospital, fixed and mobile medical detachments, and two emergency centers that will be set up in the Holy Shrine and Bein Al-Haramein (area between the two holy shrines). They will be provided with medical equipment, supplies, and life-saving medicines, and will be managed by specialized doctors and nursing staff trained in emergency medicine.”
He explained that the plan also included a field hospital with a capacity of 70 beds, and it will be equipped with all the devices and supplies for treating emergency cases, in addition to X-rays and sonar devices, an eye clinic, and a dental clinic.
“1200 volunteer health professionals from Iraq and abroad have been registered to join the hospital's medical, nursing, technical and service staff to provide the necessary health services to the pilgrims,” added Ali.
According to the hospital's administrative assistant, all coordination was done with the local government health institutions.
