Muslims in UK fear going to mosques

Many Muslim worshippers are scared of going to their mosques" as far-right riots spread across the UK, a group that monitors anti-Islamic organisations reported.


Thousands of police were on the streets on Sunday braced for more anti-immigration violence, as the UK’s police minister said "non-white people are afraid to go out onto the streets because of the colour of their skin."


Many British-Asian or Middle Eastern origin are growing increasingly apprehensive for their safety, where mosques and migrant hotels are targets for thugs.


Moreover; Women wearing hijab in the UK have received death and assault threats, as tension rises throughout British communities.


UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer vowed to protect Muslims from Islamophobic attacks, however, mosques have been on high alert and raised concerns over worshippers’ safety since the riots broke out.


The BBC reported on Sunday that mosques would be offered emergency protection amid the ongoing chaos.
