Imam Ali Shrine draped in black to mark anniversary of the Holy Prophet's passing

The Imam Ali Holy Shrine in Najaf has been draped in black banners to commemorate the anniversary of the passing of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).

The General Secretariat of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine announced a period of mourning, with black flags and condolence banners displayed throughout the shrine's courtyards and walls in remembrance of the Prophet.

The shrine has also organized a series of religious programs and mourning ceremonies over the coming days, with large numbers of visitors expected to take part in the commemorations.

Pilgrims visiting the shrine expressed their sorrow over the Prophet's passing and reflected on the hardships endured by the Prophet and his Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them).
