EU Ambassador visits the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain and reviews its service and humanitarian projects
The European Union Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Klemens Semtner, visited the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, where he met with the Deputy Secretary-General of the Holy Shrine, Sayed Mohammed Bahr Al-Ulum. The visit included a guided tour of the shrine’s historical and religious landmarks.
During the meeting, both sides discussed a range of issues of mutual interest and highlighted the humanitarian and service-oriented role played by the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain across various sectors.
In this context, the Head of the Public Relations Department, Mr. Abdul Amir Taha Al-Mutawari, delivered a comprehensive overview of the shrine’s service, humanitarian, educational, and medical projects, as well as the wide range of services provided to visitors and members of the local community. He also emphasized the shrine’s openness to dialogue and cooperation with international organizations and institutions.
