Imam Hussain Holy Shrine organizes Quran training course in Germany to prepare qualified teachers

The International Quran Preaching Center of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, in collaboration with the Khatim Al-Mursaleen Quran House in Hanover, Germany, has conducted an educational course aimed at training Quran teachers. The course brought together a select group of Quran scholars and educators.

Dr. Mahdi Daghaghla, the course supervisor, explained that the program was launched in response to the growing need among Quran institutions in Europe for qualified instructors capable of teaching the Holy Quran with correct pronunciation, tone, and adherence to the rules of recitation.

He noted, “Participants showed great dedication and a strong desire to enhance their teaching abilities, which will significantly support the spread of Quran culture among Muslim communities in Europe.”

The one-month online course covered a range of essential topics, including voice and tone training for Quran recitation, Tajweed rules, and modern pedagogical approaches for teaching Quranic recitation. According to Daghaghla, the program saw remarkable engagement and interaction from the attendees.

At the conclusion of the course, participants received accredited certificates from the International Quran Preaching Center. The hosting institution and teaching staff praised the program’s outcomes, highlighting its role in advancing Quran education and outreach across the European continent.
