London: Imam Hussain Holy Shrine’s health authority participates in First Iraqi Medical Conference
Health and medical institutions affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine took part in the First Iraqi Quality Medical Conference (IQMC) held in London, organized by the Iraqi Embassy and sponsored by the Shrine’s Health and Medical Education Authority.
Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, Chairman of the Authority, told Karbala Now News Agency that the participation reflects the Shrine’s ongoing commitment to enhancing scientific and medical cooperation, as well as exchanging expertise in healthcare and medical education. These efforts aim to improve service quality and raise academic and professional standards across affiliated institutions.
He added that the Authority’s sponsorship of the conference seeks to highlight the work of the Shrine’s health institutions and showcase the therapeutic and diagnostic services they offer—delivered using cutting-edge technologies and modern medical practices—as evidence of the significant progress made in various medical fields.
